In this 4-hour classroom course, newly elected or appointed directors will receive relevant information to their fiduciary duties and how it relates to operation of their community associations. The 100-page Florida Board Member Certification Course manual includes these topics: State and Federal Laws, Governing Documents, Meeting Procedures, Budget and Financial Preparation, Asset Protection and Insurance, and Community Association Operations. $59 per person. Registration is on line; check the website CLASS CALENDAR page for dates and locations.
This manual is also available as a self study course with a final exam composed of 85 multiple choice questions. Passing score is 64 or more. It may be purchased at the website STORE for $63.13 which includes sales tax. Materials are shipped via e mail within 15 minutes. Upon successful completion of the 4-hour classroom course, or a passing score of 64 or more on the self study course final exam, your Certificate of Completion will be issued. Florida CAM Schools, LLC, is an approved provider by the DBPR/Division of Condominiums of the Florida Board Member Certification Course for Condominium, Cooperative, and HOA Board Members.
